Superintendent Search
The Board of Education is pleased to announce the next step in the superintendent search process with the release of candidates selected for first-round interviews. Following a comprehensive review of applications, the Board has identified individuals whose experience and qualifications align with the district’s goals and priorities.
At a Special Meeting held on April 6, the Board of Education voted to offer first-round interviews to six candidates. Interviews will be held on April 13 and 14 in the High School Auditorium, beginning at 6:00 p.m. each evening. All interested members of the public are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Interview Schedule
Monday, April 13
6:00 p.m. – Ryan Portenga, Middle/High School Principal, Pewamo-Westphalia Community Schools
7:00 p.m. – Andrew Alvasteffer, Superintendent, Engadine Consolidated Schools
8:00 p.m. – Brent Cole, Jr./Sr. High Principal, Climax-Scotts Community Schools
Tuesday, April 14
6:00 p.m. – Martin DuBois, Superintendent, Reading Community Schools
7:00 p.m. – Myriah Lillie, High School Principal, Mason Public Schools
8:00 p.m. – Dr. Kyle Corlett, Former Superintendent, Ludington Area Schools
The Board anticipates identifying finalists following the conclusion of Tuesday’s interviews. Final interviews are scheduled for Tuesday, April 21.
