Pirates on the Move

Pirates on the Move was started by way of our District Strategic Plan (DSP) - the goal being to return to pre-pandemic norms, expanding learning opportunities for students, and fostering off-campus education. Starting back in 2022-23, our 6th Graders have taken a two-day trip to Chicago each April, our 7th Graders have take a day trip to an offsite team-building camp the first week of school, and our 8th Graders have taken a four-day trip to Washington DC - corresponding with the 8th Grade's US History / Social Studies curriculum. Our Pirates on the Move initiative also exists within our Elementary School and in elements of our High School programming.
